NUR HANISAH BINTI IBRAHIM

As a group of university students, my coursemates and I were constantly creating memories that we wanted to hold onto forever. One day, in October 2022, we came up with an idea for a business that could help us do just that - Photo Phactory, an instax photo printing service. We were determined to make it a success, and through hard work and determination, we were able to hit our sales goals by January 2023. It was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding journey, and we were thrilled to see our idea come to life in the form of Photo Phactory.

From the Photo Phactory business project, I learned the importance of combining technology and nostalgia to create a unique and successful business. Offering instant photo printing services, the business taps into the growing trend of consumers wanting to hold physical copies of their memories, rather than just storing them digitally. The pricing strategy is also very attractive, which makes it even more appealing to customers.

Additionally, I learned about the importance of investigating new channels of sales such as online platforms and e-commerce. This can help to increase the reach of the business and provide customers with more convenient ways to purchase products.

Overall, the Photo Phactory business project taught me how a creative and well-executed idea can be transformed into a successful business venture. The ability to tap into current market trends while offering a unique and nostalgic service makes it a stand out in the market. I've lear

AMISHA RITTNER ANAK TEDI

In my first semester, my course mates and I were assigned to make a project business of any products or services. We chose to do instax printing and polaroid service as our main business. On first and second week, we were given a briefing and slides of all information about entrepreneurship and basic skills on how to promote our services to the public. We also did our business pitching in front of other groups and our lecturer.  We started to discuss the affordable prices of our product and our strategies to gain more profits.

 
On last week of October 2022, we started to promote our product in all social media platforms, and luckily one of our member got the first order. We had achieved our main goal of the project with that first order. After weeks, our lecturer taught us on BMC model, proper copywriting, teasers, and transactions record. I’m interested with one of her topics, Cash Flow Statement. It helps me a lot on how to manage my finance.


Lastly, this course helps me to gain more knowledge on handling business well, cooperate with other members and getting out of my comfort zone. I hope this course can help the others as well in business management.

NURIN QISTINA BINTI YUSMAN 

My classmates and I were given the task of creating a project business out of any goods or services during my first semester. As our primary business, we decided to offer polaroid and instax printing services which we easily rented it from my cousin. We received a briefing and slideshows with all the details on entrepreneurship and the fundamentals of public relations throughout the first and second weeks. Additionally, we presented our businesses to other groups and our lecturer. We got to talk about our product's reasonable prices and our plans for increasing sales by 100.

 

We began promoting our instax in the final week of October 2022 over all social media channels, and fortunately one of our members received the first order. With that first order, we had completed the project's primary objective. Our instructor educated us about the BMC model, appropriate copywriting, teasers, and transactions records over the course of several weeks.

 

Last but not least, this course guides me how to handle business effectively, cooperate with other students, and step beyond my comfort zone. I'm hoping that the others that take this course will benefit from business management as well.

ADIB ADIBA BINTI NOOR'AZAM

For this project, I have done my part by creating the poster for our product. I also help with the editing of the photo of our product. My group members and I, promote the product together. Then I was assigned to do the BMC for our product pitching video.

 

In my opinion, the best thing or lesson that I gained from this project is training the group members on how to write in specifics. This includes stories, requests, time, meeting notes, action items, etc. Next, I realized that we need to repeat back what was communicated. This is effective for retention as well as making sure that all of us are paying attention then we can conclude all the opinions from each of us and come out with great decisions. By doing this, we tend to learn about agreeing and disagreeing, then it is the best way to proceed. This is impossible to do without trust. Having great teamwork will help us to finish all the tasks on time.

 

In my opinion, three suggestions to improve our business skills are understanding the financial flow and potential spending reduction areas. Next, know our target audience and the social networks they use. Lastly, recognize our areas of weakness and where to seek assistance.
